Tottenham Reportedly Unwilling to Let Kane Leave
Berlin – The transfer of Bayern Munich’s desired striker Harry Kane could be hindered by Tottenham Hotspur’s refusal to let him go.
Previously, “Bild” reported that Kane (29) had reached an agreement with FC Bayern regarding a transfer. However, “Sun” and the pay-TV channel Sky suggest that the Spurs have rejected an initial offer. According to the reports, club chairman Daniel Levy still hopes to persuade Kane with a new contract offer. Kane’s current contract expires after the upcoming season, making him available on a free transfer.
As previously reported by “The Athletic,” Bayern Munich made an initial offer of €70 million plus bonus payments. However, Levy is reportedly speculating on a transfer fee of at least €100 million. On the other hand, Bayern wants to stay well below that amount.
Kane appears to be the number one transfer target for Bayern Munich to fill the vacant position in the attack. Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel wanted to sign Kane in 2021 when he was still in charge of FC Chelsea. Manchester United is also said to be interested in the striker. Additionally, Real Madrid has shown interest in Kane in recent weeks.
