PSG Sets Their Sights on Real Madrid’s Stars in Revenge Plot

PSG’s Revenge in the Making for the ‘Mbappé Case’

According to reports from OK Diario, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) will cast their nets on one of Real Madrid’s ‘jewels’ next summer. Vinicius, Rodrygo, or Camavinga are the favorites of Al-Khelaifi.

As is the norm every year, Real Madrid’s pursuit of Kylian Mbappé has not gone down well in the PSG boardrooms. The player has been the protagonist of summer sagas in recent seasons. Now, the Parisian club is preparing a counterattack to ‘steal’ some of the stars from Ancelotti’s team.

Al-Khelaïfi’s Top Five Favorites

PSG’s boss, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, has done everything for Mbappé since he arrived at Parc des Princes in 2017. However, all indications suggest that Kylian could leave the team next summer, and he would do so for free as his contract with the club expires.

Real Madrid is already eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Frenchman as the new galactic of the Bernabéu Stadium. This prospect will not sit well with Paris Saint-Germain, a team that, according to OKDiario, already has five names on its agenda to make a colossal ‘reinvestment’ as a revenge. These are the five favorites of Al-Khelaifi.

Vinicius and Rodrygo are the top priorities, both being among the best wingers on the planet, boasting exceptional flair and talent on the big stage. The Brazilian duo is considered ‘untouchable’ at Real Madrid, but everything could change if an astronomical offer comes their way. The more realistic option for PSG seems to be Rodrygo, as Vinicius’ status in the Madrid team is untouchable.

With Verratti’s move to Qatar, Luis Enrique knows that reinforcing the midfield will be a necessity next summer. For this reason, the Spanish coach would welcome the addition of players like Tchouaméni, Camavinga, or Valverde, who are key figures in Real Madrid’s midfield. Acquiring any of the three would significantly enhance PSG’s level, but it wouldn’t come cheap.

THE BIG OBSTACLE

The main problem PSG would encounter is the release conditions of any of these players. These five ‘jewels’ are the future bets of Madrid, and all of them are protected by unattainable buyout clauses, hovering around 750 million euros.
